Overview

Slower is faster meaning slower balls give faster learning. As a pioneer of low and mid compression tennis balls Tretorn has long been in the forefront of the development and promotions of these balls. The Tretorn ACADEMY range of balls offer a perfect choice for each and all development stages of a young player. We also follow the rules and regulations set in ITF’s Play and Stay program and believe the ball is key for better and faster learning.

ACADEMY RED FELT:
An oversized low-compression ball made with standard felt optimal for outdoor use. Suited for children aged 4-7. ITF approved stage 3.

ACADEMY RED FOAM:

A 90 mm molded foam. Suited for children aged 4-7. ITF approved stage 3.

ACADEMY ORANGE:
A low-compression ball suited for children aged 7-8. ITF approved stage 2.
Softer and 40% lighter than a standard ball - 50% reduced bounce and 50% reduced speed.

ACADEMY GREEN:
A mid-compression ball suited for children aged 9-10 and beginner adults. ITF approved stage 1.
Softer and 20% lighter than a standard ball - 25% reduced bounce and 25% reduced speed.
