You are a BEGINNER and you want to:

  • Quickly learn the technical and tactical basics
  • Be able to play rallies straight away
  • Get immediate enjoyment out of the game.
  • Choose progression balls according to your ability

Playing with the right balls enables beginners to progress quickly and do what the pros do as soon as they begin competing.

Red Stage 3

The red ball is 75% slower than a yellow ball.
2 products: Foam ball (Exists in 5 colours) & Artengo TB 700 Felt
To be able to play rallies straight away.
With this easy to control ball, all players, including beginners, can easily play rallies.

The manufacturer's introductory balls have been tested and approved by the ITF.

Orange Stage 2

The orange ball is 50 % slower than a classic ball.
Product: Artengo TB 710
Used on reduced sized courts and for mini-tennis.
It looks like a real tennis ball but is slower with a lower bounce and a softer contact.
Used in competition for 8 to 10 year olds.

Green Stage 1

The green ball is 25 % slower than a classic ball.
Product: Artengo TB 720
Last stage before moving on to traditional tennis balls.
More tolerant and therefore easier to control, soft on impact, it is still lively enough to hit winners.
Used in competition for 9 to 11 year
