big continuous Play and Stay event

Starting from the 2nd of May and going until the 10th, the Portuguese Tennis Federation (FPT) is hosting a big continuous Play and Stay event, lasting for 8 days in a row. On the first day more than 300 children attended the Play and Stay court.

Everyday since this is the average number of kids attending the event, peaking with more than 600 kids on Tuesday. The National director of the program, Victor Cabral, said: "this is clearly the culmination of the work we have been doing during the past two years.

The media attention has been great, as well as the top player’s participation playing with the kids on court. We are pleased with the fantastic help of the organization, LagosSports, and tried to give a lot of demonstrations of the FPT development programs. Play and Stay concepts, Talent Identification Programs, Coaches Courses and School Tennis were the main topics.”
